AIBUBEN: Building Armenia's AI Ecosystem

AIBUBEN — The Alphabet of AI (Ա Բ...) — is Armenia's first dedicated AI ecosystem organization. We exist to build a connected, active, and practical AI community in Armenia, one that brings together builders, learners, founders, researchers, and companies under one roof.

The name says it all: just as the alphabet is the foundation of every language, AIBUBEN is the foundation of Armenia's AI future.

The Problem We're Solving

Armenia has real talent. The ambition is there. The curiosity is there. But the ecosystem? Still fragmented.

Here's what we kept seeing:

• Disconnected stakeholders — Talent, academia, startups, and industry rarely meet in one active space.
• Too much theory, not enough practice — Most learning environments don't give people the chance to actually build.
• Weak opportunity pipeline — There is no strong bridge connecting talent to jobs, products, investment, and collaboration.
• Early builders left unsupported — Promising innovators lack the network, the visibility, and the support they need to grow.

We decided to fix that.

Our First Steps

We launched with a strong opening event that brought together 75+ participants from across Armenia's tech and AI community. The energy, the conversations, and the connections that came out of that night told us everything we needed to know: this community was ready and waiting.

Who's Behind It

AIBUBEN was founded by Aram Adamyan, a Bioinformatics Engineer and AI researcher based in Paris, currently pursuing an MSc in AI & Digital Health at PSL University (ranked #1 in France). With 7+ years of experience across international companies and research institutions, Aram returned his focus to Armenia with one goal: to build the ecosystem he wished had existed when he was starting out.
